The GPHG
The Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) is a foundation dedicated to honoring exceptional contemporary timepieces and fostering global appreciation for the watchmaking craftsmanship.
Each November, the GPHG awards ceremony in Geneva serves as a magnet for the crème de la crème of the international watchmaking profession. With 90 nominated timepieces categorized into 15 distinct classes, the event is affectionately known as the "Oscar's" of the watch industry.
Following the official ceremony, GPHG takes the awarded watches on an exhibition making its stop in Zurich from December 1st to the 3rd.
Gianfranco Ritschel
Mr. Ritchel is a recognized watch expert with a remarkable role as a consultant and educator at the 'Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie' in Geneva. His vision is to inspire individuals to attain excellence in the fine watchmaking, jewelry, and luxury world. We are both excited and honored to have Mr. Ritschel as our guide, offering insightful presentations of each of the awarded watches to our esteemed guests.
