Up-to-date mit Kaleido
Gibraltar-based Trusted Novus Bank Limited (TNB) has agreed to acquire 100% of Kaleido Privatbank AG. The closing of the acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and expected in the second half of 2022. This represents a major milestone in Kaleido’s ambition to become THE Swiss Boutique Private Bank leveraging collective intelligence.
With the recently appointed management team of Rolf Bauer (CEO) and Gian Nay (COO), the Swiss bank has refocused its strategy towards clients from the DACH region - Germany, Austria, and Switzerland - and other selected international markets.
Kaleido Privatebank AG stands at the forefront of technology – a Swiss private bank offering innovative financial solutions, including independent “best-in-class” wealth management, topic-based digital communities as well as solutions “beyond banking.” Named as the “Best Boutique Private Bank” in Switzerland by CFI.co (Capital Finance International) Banking Awards in 2021, Kaleido’s deep understanding of the needs of high-net-worth individuals, wealthy families and entrepreneurs allows the bank to remain true to Swiss banking principles of exceptional customer care, strong governance, and integrity, while continuing to pioneer compliance standards and digitization.
“The future owner has a strong commitment and competence to continue supporting the new strategy of Kaleido and enable us to release the growth potential,” says Kaleido CEO Rolf Bauer.
With changing investor needs, rapidly evolving technology, and intensified regulation, TNB was seeking a high-quality private banking platform in Switzerland, to create a hub in order to grow its overall Private Banking franchise.
“We are extremely excited about the opportunities the new ownership will provide to our team. Most importantly, the exponential growth we expect from additional know-how and access to new markets” says Gian Nay, COO of Kaleido.
Christian Bjørløw, CEO of Trusted Novus Bank comments: “With the purchase of Kaleido we have a great opportunity to enhance our services to both our and Kaleido’s clients, with the focus on banking being an enjoyable and out of the ordinary experience.”
